When they started dating, Veronika had only 4 months left in Florida before she had to fly back home to Germany. Veronika and Zachariah made the best of their situation, took a lot of small trips together and would saw each other every day.

After returning to Germany, they continued their long-distance relationship. After 4 long months, Veronika flew back to Florida, where Zach proposed to her!

Their first wedding was planned within weeks in an intimate setting. Then a few months later when the rest of the family was able to come over from Germany and Russia, they had a larger, beautiful waterfront wedding at Nathan Benderson Park.

As of today, they just bought their first home close to where Zach works as a firefighter and celebrated their one year anniversary as a happily married couple!
